All of the tracks here were recorded during the Golden Age of Cuban Music, in the 1950’s and early 1960’s. Cuban music has contributed to the development of a wide variety of genres and styles around the globe. Examples include the son Cubano, guarachá, danzón, bolero, rhumba, Afro-Cuban jazz, salsa, and a wide variety of genres in Latin America.
