Best-known for his searing, assertive guitar solos and dynamic showmanship, the great Freddy King was a forceful presence and formidable figure in two of the most prominent blues epicenters: Texas and Chicago.

An innovative instrumentalist and underrated singer, in the early and mid-1960s King was one of the most influential blues musicians, particularly for British and European audiences.
