Cantabria’s Finest (en)

Cantabrian band Smooth Beans, coming from the spanish northern coast, and featuring Rudy King as lead guitar and singer, argentinian old ska and reggae musician well known for palying in bands like La Sonora Brixton and The Crabs Corporation.
They released this single on Liquidator Music. A 7” vinyl with two tracks recorded at A Lone Muzik Studio in Santander. It was an advance of the successfull ‘At Low Fyah!’ long play album.

Smooth Beans is a jamaican music oldies band formed in 2008, since then they have played a number of gigs being on of the most prolific bands in Spain. They also won the Cantabrian Young Music Contest 2009 with the first position.

Their style focuses in the classic jamaican rhythms from the 60’s nd early 70’s: Rocksteady, Reggae and Ska influenced by northamerican Soul and R&B.
